Breast Liposuction

Breast Liposuction

Breast liposuction is required if you have that ''extra'' fat in your breast. Dr. Yoho is exceptional in this field. He has been performing the modern Breast liposuction techniques for nearly a decade, and he is one of the most experienced physician in the world. He has performed about 400 to 450 Breast liposuction and other liposuction procedures a year since l994.

Breast liposuction is a great alternative to surgical breast reduction for many people. After liposuction, the breast usually takes on the same shape as it had before, only smaller. With a skillful, experienced surgeon, the skin shrinks to some degree, and the nipple will elevate on average one inch from the original position (this has been shown in scientific studies). Younger women in particular often get beautiful skin shrinkage.

If you are not going for Breast liposuction but for surgical breast reduction then you generally end up with a scar shaped like an anchor of a ship. There''s a scar all around the nipple, a scar that goes down from the nipple to the fold under the breast, and a scar that extends all the way out to the sides of the breast on the fold underneath; over a foot long total in some cases.

Breast Liposuction scars, however, are usually minimal, especially compared to this. Each breast might require 4 incisions to liposuction the breast properly. Each one of these little scars might be about 1/8th of an inch long if you have a skilled surgeon. And they ultimately fade pretty well in most cases. You can easily remove enough fat with lipo to reduce as much and with surgical breast reduction.

You can always go back and get a breast reduction after breast liposuction. After surgical breast reduction, you can''t give back your scars. What about breast cancer? There are no known effects of breast reduction or breast liposuction on breast cancer. Both change mammogram appearance, but an experienced radiologist can tell the difference in most cases between the surgery and cancer. You need to have a mammogram before the surgery and then on your routine schedule for your age.
