November 2014 - Forget Fad Fitness

You Don''t Need to be Popular to be Fit

Feeling so thick. And I just look fat not pregnant. A couple of days away from 20 weeks.

Why is it so hot at the gym? Ughhh!

Was feeling super lazy, but made it to the gym super late. Ran into Hans and Fronz, my husband and his BFF.

They are doing cardio together but 5 machines apart. Kinda like how men have to have a urinal between them but way, way more afraid of looking gay.

I did 30 on the elliptical and 2 weight training machines before taking a bathroom break and seeing my husband. I got on this weird stair stepper like elliptical to speak to him and enjoyed the bouncing. So now in doing extra cardio. must get in a schedule soon. After quality review I won’t have any more excuses.

Had a coupon for a free Pantyat Victoria’s Secret, but sadly when I opened the mailer, it was for a thong. I asked one of the store associates if there were any other panties I could choose from because I’m ‘way too pregnant for a thong hahaha’ and she is letting me get a regular pair of panties. Yeah! Honesty!

Feel like I’ve been eating way too much and not nearly well enough ( mostly due to circumstance).

Today I woke up at 5am and knew id be busy this afternoon, so I’m at the gym. Hoping to make some improvements- gatta grow a healthy baby.

Had to go into the city to sell my marathon entry. I walked miles to get there and spend a ton of time on the subway etc. and the guy didn’t show up. Waste of my time and energy. Still no word from him. If your going to back out of a transaction do so, and tell the seller about it. What is wrong with people. He knew I was pregnant too. Some people are just rude. Look at how many miles I racked up last night.

Growing up I had a weight problem. I was one those kids that was contributing to the “childhood obesity epidemic.” After choosing to make a change, I made significant progress in high school and lost over 50lbs. It hasn’t been without bumps in the road over the past ten plus years, but I’ve been dedicated to living a healthier life ever since and now I want to help others too.

Forget Fad Fitness is meant to be honest and positive while cutting through all the confusing, contradicting and painfully awful fitness and nutrition trends that are out there.
